大家好，我是@Xyinkl，一个有着对这个游戏强烈责任感的，中国蓝军。
自从2月我们发现了中国绿军集体的OPR数据激增后，自发形成了40多人的调查小分队，逐个对中国境内的活跃账号进行了拉网式的核查。发现27个Recon数据明显异常的绿军账号。 于是我写了那篇《丧钟为谁而鸣》，发到了网络上，1个多月间，有5000人看了这篇报告。
最终经过多重因素发酵，最终在3月18日，NIA Spatial启动了对肇事者的大规模封号。
截至目前，累积已有50多个中国绿以及6个中国蓝账号被封禁。
可你以为，这就是happy ending了吗？
坏人得到惩罚，正义得到伸张，Ingress日益下滑的日活终于打了一针强心剂？
不，远远没有。
坏人虽然得到了惩罚，但是他们绝没有认错。
而是凭借着多年来共谋的默契，早已形成了——
“被封禁前咬死自己清清白白，被封禁后大声呼喊是误封”的SOP标准作业流程（Standard Operating Procedures）。
没有铁证，那你说个啥？
事情主要发生在IWWC 2025讨论群，这是一个有这1200多来自世界各地Agent的群组。
自从去年12月我们发现了IWWC的数据有问题，我用中文写了另外一篇分析IWWC各项比赛数据的文章《观IWWC竞赛榜有感——当世界级肝帝遇上小学数学》，主要抨击了@Puncheur这个长期造谣的账号，在IWWC比赛中以超人的数据获得了两项第一名、一项第二名，疑似作弊。
文章发布第二天，被匿名账号转发至IWWC 2025群组，于是被群内中国绿军群起攻之，疯狂洗地。
有人诉诸历史（过去这么久了）、有人诉诸收益（那个项目没有发放奖品）、有人诉诸阵营（你是不是在煽动阵营对立），最可笑的是诉诸圣诞节（一个身在中国的中国绿军，说出了“Can you be more obnoxious to bring this up on Christmas Day when most of us are on vacation”）

注意，此时作为Ingress游戏社群内最大规模的数据比赛的组织方做了什么呢？
他们会针对性的发起调查，仔细检查一下24个比赛数据的获奖名单，看是不是存在作弊可能吗？
不，@Shooters42直接警告了@Xyinkl这个吹哨人。榜单开发者@Adam Heath直接下架了榜单。
就这样，群内的第一声号响，在管理员的无视和一众作弊犯的攻击或洗地声中，逐渐消散。
当天，@Xyinkl私信@Shooters42，两个人前后聊了2个小时，话题涉及双方的游戏环境、对中国蓝军的国际印象、此次发现游戏数据的前后过程。也是这时候@Xyinkl了解到，这位管理员来自非洲，他学习过一些中文（但是显然水平有限），他对中国蓝军有着很重的刻板印象，他认为我写这个文章主要是因为我们之间有个人恩怨（至于为什么提这个，后文有呼应）
2026年1月13日，我前文抨击的@Puncheur被官方封号，原因不明。此时@Xyinkl把这个消息转发给了@Shooters42，后者已读不回。
如果说IWWC的数据可以人为篡改，不足为凭。那么紧接着的Ingress显示分级牌子获取时间，则成为了铁证。引出了后面的文章。
我要上诉，这是误封！
很快，时间线拉到3月18日，NIA大规模封号发生的当天。。
IWWC群内，有人反馈，IWWC2025年度的RECON榜单前20，有13个账号此轮被官方封禁。

大意是，我去年圣诞节发声质疑IWWC数据的时候你们不信，
现在官方下场了，你们看,还是那些人在洗地。

随即对@Xyinkl的发言开始了咬文嚼字的逐条检视并警告，直至最后彻底把@Xyinkl从群中踢出。

其实我是大概理解，为什么一个在学习中文的非洲管理员会对中国蓝军有这种强烈的刻板印象的。
因为中国绿军长期有开展一个号称“大翻译”的运动，主要旨在中国境外的媒体平台，系统性的开展对中国蓝军的集体抹黑。

Introduction
Hello, everyone. I am @Xyinkl, a Chinese Resistance Agent with a strong sense of responsibility toward this game.
After we noticed a collective surge in Chinese Enlightened Agents’ OPR statistics in February, more than 40 of us spontaneously formed an investigation team and checked active accounts across China one by one. We found 27 Enlightened accounts whose Recon statistics were clearly anomalous. So I wrote “For Whom the Bell Tolls” and published it online; more than 5,000 people read the report in just over a month.
Eventually, after a combination of factors brought matters to a head, NIA Spatial launched a large-scale ban of the offenders on March 18.
So far, more than 50 Chinese Enlightened accounts and 6 Chinese Resistance accounts have been banned in total.
But did you think this was the happy ending?
The bad guys punished, justice served, and Ingress’s steadily declining daily active user count finally given a shot in the arm?
No. Not even close.
The bad guys may have been punished, but they have shown absolutely no willingness to admit wrongdoing.
Instead, years of tacit coordination in collusion have long since produced this—
“Before a ban, insist you are spotless; after a ban, loudly insist it was a mistake”: their SOP , or Standard Operating Procedures.
No Irrefutable Evidence? Then What Are You Even Talking About?
Most of this took place in the IWWC 2025 discussion group, which has over 1,200 Agents from around the world.
After we noticed problems in IWWC statistics last December, I wrote another Chinese-language article analyzing the figures for its various competitions, “ Reflections on the IWWC Leaderboards—When World-Class Grinders Meet Elementary-School Math ” . Its main target was @Puncheur, an account that had long spread rumors and had taken two first places and one second place in IWWC with superhuman statistics, raising suspicions of cheating.
The day after publication, an anonymous account shared the article in the IWWC 2025 group, where Chinese Enlightened members piled on and frantically defended the conduct.
Some appealed to the passage of time (“it was so long ago”), some to the rewards (“that event did not award prizes”), and some to faction allegiance (“are you trying to stir up faction conflict?”). Most laughably, one appealed to Christmas: a Chinese Enlightened Agent living in China said, “Can you be more obnoxious to bring this up on Christmas Day when most of us are on vacation”.

This is phase one of the SOP: insist on your spotless innocence before being banned, and organize a group defense.
Now pay attention: what did the organizers of the largest statistics competition in the Ingress community do at this point?
Did they launch a focused investigation and carefully examine the prizewinner lists for all 24 competition categories for possible cheating?
No. @Shooters42 went straight to warning the whistleblower, @Xyinkl. The leaderboard developer, @Adam Heath, simply took the leaderboards offline.
And so the first alarm raised in the group gradually faded away amid the administrators’ indifference and a chorus of attacks and excuses from the cheaters.
That day, @Xyinkl messaged @Shooters42 privately, and the two talked for about 2 hours, covering their respective playing environments, international impressions of the Chinese Resistance, and the sequence of events surrounding the discovery of the statistics. It was then that @Xyinkl learned this administrator was from Africa, had studied some Chinese (though his proficiency was clearly limited), held strong stereotypes about the Chinese Resistance, and believed I had written the article mainly because of a personal feud between us. Why mention this? It will come up again later.
On January 13, 2026, @Puncheur, whom I had criticized in the earlier article, was officially banned for an unknown reason. @Xyinkl forwarded this news to @Shooters42, who read it without replying.
You could argue that IWWC statistics can be manually altered and are therefore insufficient evidence. But then Ingress began displaying the dates on which individual medal tiers had been earned, providing irrefutable evidence. That led to the subsequent article.
I’m Appealing—This Ban Was a Mistake!
Now fast-forward to March 18, the day NIA carried out the mass bans.
Someone in the IWWC group reported that 13 of the top 20 accounts on the IWWC 2025 annual RECON leaderboard had been officially banned in this wave.

But the accounts that had previously attacked @Xyinkl reappeared, some claiming mistaken bans and others making excuses.
How familiar it all looked. Remember the December incident about supposedly being obnoxious on Christmas?

At that point, @Xyinkl sent that bedtime message to the group of 1,200 people.
The gist was: when I questioned IWWC’s statistics last Christmas, you did not believe me;
now the officials have stepped in, and look—the same people are still making excuses.
I know I am innocent, and when I wake tomorrow I will stand openly in the sunlight;
but can some of you honestly say your consciences are clear?
And how do you think the group reacted? The same people, mainly Chinese Enlightened Agents—including some accounts banned in this round—joined together to attack @Xyinkl.
Group administrator @Adam Heath muted @Xyinkl and said it was inappropriate that the investigation had used competition data. He offered no proposal whatsoever for dealing with those who had caused the problem.
So @Xyinkl moved to another commonly used Ingress chat group and posted a rebuttal.
