事情的起因是这样的。
自从2018年底重新回到Ingress这个大坑后
@Xyinkl一共断过三次签到牌。
第一次大概是在140天，
去吉林滑雪。
雪场60公里内。
一个Po，都没有。
扼腕叹息之后，
在滑雪场申了三个，
在住宿的农家乐申了一个。
并且自此之后只去那个雪场。
工Po床Po都有，雪场也有了。
也不常出差，以为这下应该不会再断了。
哪成想，2019年。
猩猩推出了蜜汁活动。
对，就是塑料袋系列牌子。
lucida、optima、didact、umbra、avenir、aurora、myriad；INGRESS。
由于实在是不能忍受umbra这个村头王师傅潮流离子烫牌子的颜值
umbra
@Xyinkl 决定拒不插脚。
以此来免疫猩猩毒奶美工的Profile攻击。
于是很不出意料的，
在一个午后，@Xyinkl觉得自己貌似忘了什么。
啊，是签到！这两天貌似都没Hack！
再一看Profile，果然已经凉凉
第二次断签，数字停到了294
于是一切又重新来过

在迫近黑牌的最后几天
@Xyinkl认真考虑了一下
究竟是要继续坚持Hack下去
直到哪天又一不小心忘了Hack
停在一个不可控的数字
还是主动断签，让数字直接停到360。
从此再不用考虑断签的问题。
考虑的结果是，
当然要有计划的停到360天！
不能接受其他非整的数字！
那么问题来了
如何安详的停在第360天呢？
快从359跳到360的那天，
@Xyinkl时不时拿出Scanner看两眼，确认没黑。
直到下午两点出头，它果然来了！
获得奖牌：Sojourner。Kinetic Capsule已准备就绪。
在确认已经黑了之后
立刻退出登录

直到第二天的下午两点
24个小时已经过去
怀着颤抖的心情重新登录
然后就发现了这诡异的一幕
Xyinkl，10级，296,087 / 2,000,000 AP。11级要求：27/6、21/4。Recursion（2）AP：4,296,087；累计AP：84,396,087。360天，Sojourner。在连续的每个24小时周期内Hack一个Portal。15、30、60、180、360；完成。全部时间、月、周、当前。建造：有效Link 50；拥有的Portal 216；有效Control Field 13；控制Mind Unit 30,240 MUs。资源收集：当前连续Hack 361天。
What？为啥还在计数？
我的360呢？！！！
强制自己冷静十分钟后
@Xyinkl开始了推理
这个牌子会在每次Hack之后刷新倒计时
官方说是24小时
但是24小时没有Hack后仍然+1了
最为诡异的是
Current Streak 已经变成361
但是牌子示数还是360
那这个签到计数到底是停了还是断了？
真就成了薛定谔的签到牌了么？
既停又不停，叠加态签到？
那这种情况的可能性是？
可能性1：“吾好梦中Hack”
可能性2：在24小时内有在IITC兑换过猩猩的新年物资码
可能性3：这个牌子推送晚了？
在真正的倒计时内依然Hack了
之后才收到了牌子推送
啊
难道要凑个365再断么
在询问过万能的群友后
发现确有超过24小时不断签的案例
那么可以推理，既然有人24+小时不断签
就有可能需要24+小时才能彻底断签。
（有理有据，令人信服）
然后又陆续搜到几种解释
“连续 Hack 天数”这一统计显示的是你的最长连续纪录，不一定是当前的连续天数（除非两者相同）。
“连续Hack天数”代表你的最长记录，“当前计数”则不一定。（除非这两个数字一样）
即使你在该时段内没有Hack，计数器也可能跳到下一天，所以不能靠它来判断自己最近是否成功Hack过。
“无论你有没有在当前周期内Hack，当前计数都可能+1，所以你不能把这个当做是否Hack的指标。”
看来还有一种可能性4：猩猩对于“连续Hack天数”和“当前计数”是分别计数。可能会定时根据游戏数据去校核“连续Hack天数”
经过一番推理，现在有两种选择：
选择1：勇敢的Hack下去，继续计数，不让计数停在361。
选择2：继续静默，等到第二个24小时过去，计数要么停在360，要么停在361。
犹豫犹豫着，看到了这个。。
最多36小时；任意Portal；仅成功Hack计数。注意：这些“规则”没有官方认可，可能随时改变！Niantic唯一确认的规则是“每次Hack间隔最多24小时”；虽然他们承认有一点宽限时间，但从未确认宽限到底是多少。我刚做了一些测试，规则似乎如下：连续Hack达到15、30、60、180和360天时，会获得Sojourner奖牌。Hack任意Portal都计数。仅成功的Hack计数；因物品栏已满而失败的不计数。要维持连续Hack记录，两次Hack间隔最多36小时。
有国外一老哥经过亲身测验，发现最长36个小时内Hack就可以不断签。同时指出两个计数可能不一致
或许值得一提的是，在周二20:04那次Hack之前的几秒，连续Hack计数器还显示8天，而Hack后马上变成了0。
搜到这个解释后，@Xyinkl信心大增。
那就继续静默！
于是，第三天清晨7点，
在获得黑牌40h后，
@Xyinkl从睡梦中醒来，
看到计数归零，牌子示数360
欧耶。成功断签。
从此终于可以出远门不再提前看IITC了！
向着AFK进发！

Here is how it started.
Since falling back into the great Ingress rabbit hole at the end of 2018,
@Xyinkl has broken his Sojourner streak three times.
The first was around day 140,
On a skiing trip to Jilin.
Within 60 kilometers of the ski resort,
Not. One. Portal.
After much sighing and regret,
He nominated three at the ski resort,
And one at the farmhouse guesthouse where he stayed.
And from then on, went only to that resort.
A work Portal, a home Portal, and now ski-resort Portals too.
With business trips uncommon, surely the streak would never break again.
Then came 2019.
Niantic—the “ape”—launched a baffling event.
Yes, the plastic-bag medal series.lucida, optima, didact, umbra, avenir, aurora, myriad; INGRESS.
Unable to stomach the look of Umbra—that “trendy straightening perm by Old Wang, the village barber” of a medal—umbra
@Xyinkl decided to refuse to deploy Resonators.
Thus protecting his Profile from an assault by Niantic’s cursed art department.
And so, entirely unsurprisingly,
One afternoon, @Xyinkl felt he had forgotten something.
Ah—the daily hack! I don’t think I’ve hacked for two days!
A glance at his Profile confirmed it: dead.
The second broken streak stopped at 294.
So everything began again.

In the last few days before Onyx,
@Xyinkl thought it over seriously.
Should he keep hacking,
Until one day he accidentally forgot again,
And the counter stopped at some number beyond his control?
Or deliberately break the streak and stop the number right at 360?
Never to worry about breaking it again.
The conclusion:
Of course—stop at 360 days, according to plan!
No other, untidy number is acceptable!
Which raises the question:
How to lay the streak peacefully to rest on day 360?
On the day it was about to tick over from 359 to 360,
@Xyinkl kept taking out the Scanner to check that it had not yet turned Onyx.
Then, just after two in the afternoon, there it was!Medal Earned: Sojourner.Kinetic Capsule ready.
After confirming it had reached Onyx,
He immediately signed out.

Until two the following afternoon.
Twenty-four hours had passed.
With a trembling heart, he signed back in.

What? Why is it still counting?
What happened to my 360?!!!
After forcing himself to calm down for ten minutes,
@Xyinkl began reasoning it out.
This medal resets its countdown after every hack.
Officially, the limit is 24 hours.
But it had still gone up by 1 after 24 hours without a hack.
Strangest of all,
Current Streak had already reached 361,
While the medal still read 360.
So has this streak counter stopped, or has the streak broken?
Has it really become Schrödinger’s Sojourner medal?
Stopped and not stopped: a streak in superposition?
What could explain this?
Possibility 1: “I am fond of hacking in my sleep.”
Possibility 2: He redeemed Niantic’s New Year item passcode on IITC within those 24 hours.
Possibility 3: The medal notification arrived late?
He had still hacked within the actual countdown window,
And only afterward received the medal notification.
Ah.
Do I have to make it to 365 before stopping?
After asking the all-knowing group chat,
He found there really were cases of streaks surviving more than 24 hours.
So, if some people keep their streak beyond 24 hours, it follows
That it may take more than 24 hours to break one completely.
(Sound reasoning. Utterly convincing.)
Then a few more explanations turned up.The stat shown as 'Consecutive Days Hacking' reflects your longest streak, not necessarily your current count (unless they are the same).
“Consecutive hacking days” records your longest streak; “Current Streak” does not necessarily do so. (Unless those two numbers are the same.)The counter may tick over despite you not having hacked for that period, so you cannot use that as an indicator to recall if you have hacked successfully recently or not.
“Current Streak can increase by 1 whether or not you have hacked in the current cycle, so you cannot use it to tell whether you have hacked.”
It seems there is a fourth possibility: Niantic counts “consecutive hacking days” and “Current Streak” separately. It may periodically check the gameplay data to verify the consecutive-days record.
After all that reasoning, two choices remained:
Option 1: Hack bravely onward and keep counting, rather than let it stop at 361.
Option 2: Keep quiet until another 24 hours pass, and let the number stop at either 360 or 361.
While wavering, he saw this…Max 36 hours, any portal, only successful hacks count.NOTE: These ‘rules’ are not officially supported and may change at any time!The only rule that is confirmed by Niantic is ‘max 24 hours per hack’, although they have admitted there is a little bit of grace, but they never confirmed what that grace is.I just did some testing on this, and the rules appears to be as follows:You gain Sojourner medals for achieving a Hack Steak of 15, 30, 60, 180 and 360 days.Hacking on any portal counts.Only successful hacks count; failures due to full inventory does not count.Max 36 hours between hacks to maintain the Hack Streak.
A player overseas had tested it personally and found that hacking within as much as 36 hours could preserve the streak. They also pointed out that the two counters might differ.It might be worth noting that the Hack Streak counter said 8 days in the seconds just before the Tuesday 20:04 hack, and was then 0 directly after.
Finding that explanation gave @Xyinkl a huge confidence boost.
Then silence it is!
And so, at seven on the third morning,
Forty hours after earning Onyx,
@Xyinkl woke up,
To a reset counter and a medal reading 360.
Oh yes. Streak successfully broken.
At last, he could travel without checking IITC beforehand!

事の始まりはこうだ。
2018年末、再びIngressという沼に戻ってから、
@XyinklはSojournerの連続記録を3回途切れさせた。
最初は、たしか140日くらいのとき。
吉林へスキーに行った。
スキー場から60キロ圏内に、
Portalが、一つも、ない。
悔しさにため息をついた後、
スキー場で3件、
泊まっていた農家民宿で1件、Portalを申請した。
それ以来、そのスキー場にしか行かなくなった。
職場にも自宅にもPortalがあり、スキー場にもできた。
出張も少ないし、これでもう途切れまいと思った。
ところが、2019年。
「猩猩」ことNianticが、謎のイベントを始めた。
そう、あの「ビニール袋」シリーズのメダルだ。lucida、optima、didact、umbra、avenir、aurora、myriad；INGRESS。
Umbraの、村の床屋のおじさんが作る「流行の縮毛矯正」みたいな見た目が、どうにも我慢できず、umbra
@Xyinklは断固としてレゾネーターを置かないことにした。
Nianticの呪われたデザイナーによるProfile攻撃を、これで防ぐのだ。
そして、実に予想どおり、
ある日の午後、@Xyinklは何か忘れている気がした。
あ、連続ハック！この2日、ハックしていない気がする！
Profileを見直すと、案の定、終わっていた。
2度目の途切れは294で止まった。
そこで、すべてをまた最初から。

オニキス目前の最後の数日、
@Xyinklは真剣に考えた。
このままハックを続け、
いつかまた、うっかり忘れて、
自分では選べない数字で止まるのを待つのか。
それとも自分から途切れさせ、360でぴたりと止めるのか。
そうすれば、もう途切れる心配をしなくて済む。
考えた末の結論は、
もちろん計画的に360日で止める！
ほかの半端な数字は認めない！
そこで問題だ。
どうすれば、360日目に穏やかに終わらせられるのか？
359から360へ変わるはずの日、
@Xyinklは何度もScannerを開き、まだオニキスになっていないことを確かめた。
そして午後2時を少し過ぎたころ、ついに来た！メダル獲得：Sojourner。Kinetic Capsuleの準備完了。
オニキスになったのを確認し、
すぐにログアウト。
カウントダウン、24H

途中で何度も、暇だからゲームを開きたくなった。
無理やり我慢。
…
Nianticが2021年の新年メダルを出した。
無理やり我慢。

そして、翌日の午後2時。
24時間が経った。
震える思いで、再ログイン。

What？なんでまだ増えているの？
私の360は？！！！
10分間、無理やり気持ちを落ち着かせてから、
@Xyinklは推理を始めた。
このメダルは、ハックするたびにタイマーがリセットされる。
公式には24時間だという。
なのに24時間ハックしなくても、まだ1増えていた。
いちばん妙なのは、
Current Streakはすでに361なのに、
メダルの数字はまだ360なことだ。
この連続記録、結局、止まったのか、途切れたのか？
本当にシュレーディンガーのSojournerメダルになってしまったのか？
止まっていて、止まっていない、重ね合わせ状態の連続ハック？
考えられる理由は？
可能性1：「我、夢の中でハックするを好む」。
可能性2：24時間の間に、IITCでNianticの新年アイテムコードを引き換えた。
可能性3：メダルの通知が遅かった？
実際のカウントダウン期間内には、まだハックしていて、
その後になってメダル通知が届いた。
ああ。
365までそろえてから止めるしかないのか。
何でも知っているグループの皆さんに聞くと、
24時間を超えても途切れなかった例が、確かにあると分かった。
ということは、24時間超でも続く人がいるのなら、
完全に途切れるにも24時間以上かかる可能性がある。
（理屈も根拠もあり、実に説得力がある。）
その後、ほかにもいくつか説明が見つかった。「Consecutive Days Hacking（連続ハック日数）」に表示されるのは最長連続記録であり、必ずしも現在の連続日数ではありません（両者が同じ場合を除きます）。
「連続ハック日数」は最長記録を示すが、「現在の記録」は必ずしもそうではない。（両方の数字が同じ場合を除く。）その期間にHackしていなくてもカウンターが進むことがあるため、最近Hackに成功したかどうかを確認する目安には使えません。
「現在の周期内にハックしたかどうかに関係なく、Current Streakは1増えることがある。だから、ハック済みかどうかの判断には使えない。」
可能性4もありそうだ。Nianticは「連続ハック日数」と「現在の記録」を別々に数えている。定期的にプレイデータを照合して「連続ハック日数」を確認しているのかもしれない。
一通り推理した結果、選択肢は2つ。
選択肢1：勇気を出してハックを続け、361で止まらないようにする。
選択肢2：沈黙を続け、次の24時間が過ぎるのを待つ。360か361のどちらかで止まるだろう。
迷っているうちに、これを見つけた……。最大36時間、どのPortalでも可、成功したHackのみカウント。注意：これらの「ルール」は公式に認められたものではなく、いつでも変わる可能性があります！Nianticが確認している唯一のルールは「Hackの間隔は最大24時間」です。多少の猶予があることは認めていますが、その長さは明らかにしていません。これについて少し検証したところ、ルールは次のように見えます。連続Hackが15、30、60、180、360日に達すると、Sojournerメダルを獲得します。どのPortalでHackしてもカウントされます。成功したHackだけがカウントされます。インベントリが満杯で失敗したものはカウントされません。連続Hack記録を維持するには、Hackの間隔を最大36時間以内にします。
海外のあるプレイヤーが実際に試したところ、最大36時間以内にハックすれば途切れないと分かったという。2つのカウンターは一致しない場合がある、とも指摘していた。補足しておくと、火曜20:04のHackの数秒前には連続Hackカウンターが8日と表示されていましたが、直後に0になりました。
その説明を見つけ、@Xyinklは大いに自信を得た。
ならば沈黙を続けよう！
そして3日目の朝7時、
オニキス獲得から40時間後、
@Xyinklが目を覚ますと、
カウンターはゼロ、メダルは360だった。
よっしゃ。無事に途切れた。
これでようやく、事前にIITCを確認せず遠出できる！
