弃坑的Ingress
一开始玩Ingress这个基于地理位置的虚拟现实游戏，应该是2015年末。不知道为什么就开始玩了，当初玩的还挺上瘾的，下雪的冬天，还经常自己在大学校园里Hack、Link。冻得发抖，居然还学会了喝两口小白酒御寒。
应该是当初有活动，不到两个月就升到了8级。之后感觉自己一个人玩也太没意思，就AFK（away from keyboard）了。
在Boston玩了一次
17年底去资本主义老巢，也是一个人。无聊之余，想起来了Ingress。在波士顿、芝加哥和华盛顿都Hack了几个Po，直到现在还留着这些Portal Key。远在地球另一边，距离一万多公里，估计这辈子是连不过去的，加多少Amp都难。

新开始，新姿势
前两天突然又想到了这个，发现南站附近也有八九个Po。
加上每天总用的电动滑板，啧啧啧，这比开着Tesla玩更有意思。比开车灵活，比共享单车省力、快捷。一个小时就连了一大片Control field。不得不说这个新姿势，很赞。

The Ingress I Had Quit
I think it was late 2015 when I first started playing Ingress, the location-based virtual-reality game. I don't know what got me started, but I was pretty hooked back then, often heading out alone to Hack and Link around my university campus even in the snowy winter. I would shiver so badly that I even learned to take a couple of swigs of baijiu to ward off the cold.
There must have been an event on at the time: I reached level 8 in less than two months. Then playing all on my own began to feel too boring, so I went AFK (away from keyboard).
A Brief Return in Boston
At the end of 17, I visited capitalism's home turf—alone again. Bored, I remembered Ingress. I Hacked a few Portals in Boston, Chicago, and Washington, and I still have those Portal Keys. A New Start, a New Way to Play
A couple of days ago it suddenly came back to mind, and I found eight or nine Portals near South Railway Station.
Add the electric skateboard I ride every day, and oh boy—this is more fun than playing from a Tesla. More nimble than a car, less effort and faster than a shared bike. In one hour I Linked up a whole swath of Control Fields. I have to say, this new way of playing is excellent.

I really haven't regretted buying that electric skateboard.

いったんやめたIngress
位置情報を使う仮想現実ゲームIngressを始めたのは、たぶん2015年の終わりだった。なぜ始めたのかは覚えていないが、当時はかなり夢中で、雪の降る冬にもよく一人で大学のキャンパスを回ってHackしたりリンクを張ったりしていた。寒さで震えながら、しまいには白酒をちびちび飲んで寒さをしのぐことまで覚えた。
当時は何かイベントがあったのだろう、2か月足らずでレベル8になった。その後、一人で遊ぶのはあまりにつまらないと感じて、AFK（away from keyboard）した。
Bostonで一度だけプレイ

新たな始まり、新たな遊び方
一昨日あたりにふと思い出して、南駅の近くにも8、9個のポータルがあるのを見つけた。
そこに毎日乗っている電動スケートボードを組み合わせると、いやはや、Teslaを運転しながら遊ぶより面白い。車より小回りが利き、シェア自転車より楽で速い。1時間で広い範囲にコントロールフィールドを作れた。この新しい遊び方は、実にいい。
